pasta

Post by creativesoul » March 24th, 2023, 10:56 am

even though the italian husband is dead
He rises on days such as these
Where i have to pull my energy home

I make pasta : Today with pesto
As the onion decided to leave

My comfort is to hear those old ladies
The aunties - zia maria- zia angelina-
Zia enrica - zia maria
Yeah repairing clothing - ironing
Gosiping about the villagers

Domenica my swatchera( mother in law)
Told me of her previous crushes
And of my husbands father
She worked silk looms all her life
Was rather deaf
But loved me and my sons

So today they are here with me
Not to mention
Im hungry
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
