There is No Paradise

There is no paradise,
no matter the plot, and I
thought there was a plot.
I thought Maui might be
paradise, but it wasn't.
I remember Maui
from many years ago,
but now it's gone.

tragic...I was in Maui exactly 20 years ago...and I did believe that was the closest I've been to a conception of paradise

You saw it! So did Saw (steve). I only dreamt of being there. Mother Earth will recover, but our illusions took a crucial hit.

It is not gone- there is going to be amazing community and lots of p rebuilding- many losses - yes- but really- aloha lives on
