the exasperation
the pain, the impotency
of watching the whole world
stand by and do nothing

One tiny country is allowed
to slaughter people that are not really fighting back
day after day after day innocents, children
face annihilation

and not a single country comes to their aid
the world just watches
and says on camera that it is "just terrible"
and this tiny country bent on murder still isn't satisfied

it would seem they never will be until all the breath is gone
and the watching continues
and the tiny country is emboldened
the taste of blood is delicious on their tongues

and the world sits back.......watching
regression and degradation holding hands
while the tiny country
wrings the lives from a bloody blanket
