Studio8 - Uniting the Arts

lately I have been spending too much time
with myself, too much time with only
my thoughts, no imput from others that
may help with balance, objectivity, sanity
I like my home, but fear too much of it
without the company of well intended others
may be just another illness attached to ones
I already have
and at what point do we really know
the depths of illness, will there be an alarm
that will ring, red flashes, maybe a halt-who-goes-there

You kind of just know, when you need get outside

time to circle the block,
circle the wagons, Hey
he's opening the door, it's time to
block out the immobility
and the stroll is on now
but can he block out the echoes
of the little man that speaks to him privately
