I have too much to list
that i am thankful for
so this year on thanksgiving
I'd like to simply thank doreen
for her vision and determination
in keeping studio 8 alive
despite the dwindling numbers
of contributors
it has always been a sanctuary
for me the last 16 years
a place I longed to visit
a place to connect with others
in that special way thru thoughts....
words....
so thank you so much doreen
you're the best

I have such wonderful memories of Studio8. I feel bad that I’ve dropped out pretty much. My writing suddenly stopped after writing incessantly for 25 years or more. My painting stopped too. Crazy. I don’t know what happened to me. We’ve been here since 2004, that’s 21 years this coming July. That’s a long time!

This place has been one of the most creative places on the web— to me anyway. Thank you all for being here still.

I’d like to figure out how to invite other members back.

The Word Jams were the most special creative times I ever spent on the net. I’d really like to revive them. You guys still do it spontaneously, but I liked the planned events. Planned spontaneity. Hah! I always thought was funny.

You all are the greatest! Thanks so much for sharing your writing photography and art! We are a long-lived community because of you!
