another person felt the same way
and looked to the right
and concluded That must be the reason...
but as it turned out it was merely
a brilliant strategy for the authors
of the two party system.......
No one was lookin UP

or straight ahead... into a mirror

It has been a Corporate Takeover for decades.
The two party system ripe for exploitation,
and eventual implosion from the inside,
one side versus other, divide, conquer,
lean heavily into that tribalism.

the billionaires were hidden
in a sense, as they watched
the right and the left bicker
quite pleased that no one was looking UP

the bickering was a beautiful thing
for the fab rich, it made both sides impotent
now they have declared we don't need to hide anymore
as evidenced by the gathering on stage with tRump

Now it's ok to look UP
see how beautiful we are here on the top
our disdain is still the same for the working class
but now we plan to really make you suffer

it's so great now to be openly racist and misognistic
and we can now be proud of our hatred of immigrants
matter of fact let's call them migrants and sub-human
and now we on the top can rape and plunder out in the open

and it's not a crime if we do it
there will be no penalties for us
and there will be no justice for them
look Up people.... kiss our rings !

Not sure why, but I thought of that scene in Life of Brian when Brian was running from his mob of "followers" and he lost his shoe ... "Cast aside the Trump, follow the holy UP-ness!!!"... (Of course, I use "up" in a different sense here.)
