I like waking up.
It means I'm alive.
Wake! Wake! Wake!
Not woke! Past tense.
Woke bad, bad, bad!
What a difference one
one letter makes, I'm told.

"Woke " is obviously a buzz word..... cooked up in a think tank to be regurgitated by people that never read a book..it's a MAGA shortcut for the lazy intolerant hordes that follow Trump's non-stop lies...

there are many it seems many that reject, Live and Let Live, which has been uttered for centuries to express a philosphy of peaceful coexistence......Trump and his simpleton disciples believe only
They are Right, and intend to force their philosphy on the masses....and anti wokeness will lead them to the promised land

It's all divide and conquer politics at this point. I'll just leave it at that.

I admit I didn't read the link, but I love the phrase "tyranny of words." A surprisingly big problem

I think HST wasn't far from the truth about "the American dream," but there was no way that "Fear and Loathing" (in Vegas) was ever going to fully translate to the big screen. You had to read the book.
