Hurricane sugar.

Post by hester_prynne » September 17th, 2004, 4:07 pm

I put a key in the day,
and turn it.
Whoosh, wow,
pua knock knock!
Slouch.
I sit back,
and take a
scenic ride in idlemind.
One way
windows rolled up tight,
so no one here can see me,
endlessly waiting,
for something
i'm not sure of.
I see words go by,
like highway signs.
Invasive burdens,
telling me where to go,
how to think,
what to buy,
who showed their
ass.
I want something more.
I smoke a cigarette,
make a pot of coffee.
Poems about hurricane sugar,
dance in my head.

God, sugar, this is neat.

I heard ( finally) your "It Had to Be You" on LR's site.

What can I say?

Your voice rings true as Rimbaud's.

Move over, Diana Krall, an elder brunette is better than you are.

Friday Love,

Zlatko

I wish

I wish you could see the big grin on my face Zlatko.
I wish I could grab both your hands with my own and squeeze them in gratitude.
I'd probably jump up and down a little too and you'd think I was silly.
Hell, I am silly.
Thank you...Mr. dearie!

Zlatko -- where did you go on Lightning Rod's board to hear Hester sing? I just went there and couldn't figure it out.

Thanks!

actually it's on my site, cat, but sometimes it's difficult to tell us apart except when we are naked with a camera to our backs ... or something

hest is on here

http://doreenperi.com/ListenLook.html

in the myriad of other mistaken audio ventures....

the page hasn't been updated for eons, like at least a year or so

but also check out mars burns aka marksman45 ... when you have a chance....

the recordings are midi mini ventures in an attempt to translate what goes on in real life but it's rather lame in sound quality..... rather? ... lol..... very...

but we tried

.... hester has a beautiful voice......:)

Great, Hester! I finally heard it after downloading Quicktime. Very sexy and slow. What a great vibrato you have. Encore!
