Do You Love?

Post by judih » August 20th, 2004, 8:29 am

do you love
do
you give love in ample plentitude
do you love to love
the word
the enchantment
the magus magic montage of magnamitude attitude
love
do you love out loud when you look at life
is love a flying Oh zone that auras over all

do you love
this love
of glorious boisterous lilt etude

yes, it's best not to forget
that love is a VERB
and not a NOUN
it's not a place you live
an apartment you've decorated
in purples and reds
keeping love alive is a fulltime job
or like my yellow clematis
it's withered, dry, and dead.

Oh Zone

I hafta say how I LOVE these two lines.

The flash of ecstacy that i got reading them again and again.

we all should look at love with that kind of awe.
Drown in its passion for life, living, giving all
to be part of its power and purpose.

Awesome and inspiring!!

How close is Love to dead-already stars
that shine as gain and long have been at loss
to time and my existence? And s/he pouts
and ponders:
What if Love is something of
a nonessential task of personal
achievement? Some have loved; their Love’s enough.
Is Love a flight of Oh-zone aura light—
aurora borealis of the night-
time heavens' omnipresence somewhere rough
and not in physical or literal
perspective of an I? Please gently, Love,
come sticky smother all my rampant doubts
like honey dripped with movements slow across
the slip-slide edge of brittle glassy jars.

joel...is not gonna talk himself in the third person. :) no, i don't have anything to write about. bone dry. so i figured i'd look back and see what's been there before--actually make use of the links to former pages on the bottom of the screen. i read a couple from page 40 and this just screamed out--and so i figured i might as well try to run with it, but judih's is amazing and beyond comprehension. it wasn't till after i posted that looking over other posts that i realized it had been posted exactly three years ago to the day--so that was cool. i don't believe in a puppetmaster, but i don't believe in coincidence either.

that sounds so much nicer than "joel is homeless, out-of-work and bumming off his folks with plenty of time on his hands to contemplate that two degrees down, he's still a lonely/lowly dependent." i guess the times will come soon enough when i'll dream about so much unclaimed time....

joel - you, (second person) picked up on the little known 3 year law. Every 3 years there's a chance to pump up the energy to new heights. Today it's blazing - in 3 years for those with the sensitivity it'll need re-blazing.

homeless - we've all known homeless. lucky are we with parents or siblings or welcoming aunts, uncles, cousins. lucky. to be without those dear wonderful DNA relatives means to be lucky enough to find friends with hearts as big as gold.

we're never low if we feel love.
feel love and pass it on.

(love)

thanks for the pass, judih--and it's (love's) a worth if hackneyed cause. may it cause a lift off. a blast off into perpetual orbit.

(love as well)
