A Beautiful Falling

It was a beautiful day for the rain
fit the tranquil lazy mood of my soul
Sedentary movement in a half stepped timed dance
of uneventful unchanging progress
toward tomorrow.

It was a beautiful day for the wind
whispering around the corners
like the whispered movements inside my head
joining in rhythm to the white noise
static from my nervous system frayed at the ends.

It was a time of my falling into reality
realizing all is not solid
everything has little matter
less than we thought of the matter
So as I fall into unreality I see the truth.

It was a beautiful day for the rain
and the wind and the whispered voices.
It was beautiful day to fall
and to catch myself in the act of creation

iblieve--

I really enjoyed the rhythm of your reflection in the above quotation snippets.

Question: do you intend not to finish the poem with a period? I noticed the stanzas all have punctuated endings except for the very end. I immediately thought this is a beautiful way of leaving you caught act of creation open-ended. Very nice.

thanks, joel

You've no idea the magical effect reading this poem has on me.
Like a soothing natural tonic.
Beautiful.

Thanks for posting this.

Thanks everyone and joel yes that is was intentional, but came from an accident. When I copied it from my files tio ehre I left the period off, after reading it I realized that the act of creating is open ended. Thanks for noticing

Hester this was inspired by that movie and the concepts expressed in the movie validate my spiritual beliefs. I call quantum mechanics the science of understanding creation and God. Thanks everyone for the support. iblieve
