London wails....

Post by YABYUM » July 7th, 2005, 7:50 pm

Tonight,
Londons children wail.
In disbelief at having to believe.
Terror-istssssss........

Tonight,
Londons mothers wail.
Holding a photo of her child.
Terror-istssssss.........

Tonight,
Londons candles burn.
igniting rage, tears, and fists.
Terroristsssssss...........

Late cool morning in July;
pane-framed garden towers high,
crops perspective horizon sky:
blue and blue by clouded dye.

Clarity’s but luxury
post-attack but peacefully
where written verse read silently
moans ignores deceptively.

Father Time, your children rear;
Mother Nature, nurture here;
may Mother Goose not disappear;
one Father, hear our prayer.

Late cool mourning in July;
pain-framed garden towers high,
crops prospective horizon sky:
blue and blue by clouded die.

again, again, it is all happening again
the blitz
London will survive
sublime English people so much wiser than their government

Father Time, your children rear;
Mother Nature, nurture here;
may Mother Goose not disappear;
one Father, hear our prayer.

Father-Mother creator god
hear my prayer
let us not forget
never never never
again

Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.
