Bottomfeeder's logic

The spoils
of plenty,
are a bottomfeeder's
logic.
Abundant fallout,
via the big
o-verrated beast,
sustains us.
We evolve,
as defter-fish,
circling around
ancient stoic islands,
tempted by
frozen treat words,
yet never,
are we overcome.
Our strength of will,
is dive and thrive,
off the grimy-deep,
haughtily forbidden,
untapped
ocean floor,
that holds
us all.

Elitism is such a funny thing--an ironic thing. The spoils of plenty does seem the bottomfeeders' logic. But the spoils of plenty tend to go the rich and wealthier. When the power-haves are sucking at the plentiful spoils on the bottom, I wonder how they blind themselves into the notion they're somehow different (let allone better) than the power-have-nots who are stuck feeding on the bottom on the just plain spoils?

Indeed Joel, that's a thought that's fathoms deeper than where i was when I wrote this. I think of the "spoils of plenty" as the leftovers deemed garbage by the elite.....for the majority to thrive on....
