I, II, III

I
Falling,
crashlanding,
flopless,
on ground.
I am afraid
to come to.
Grief roars,
wild scream,
breaks glass.
II
Nightmares
drip through cracks
in my birthwalls.
I ride life fast
to stop the
overflow
in inertia's tracks,
suspended,
between
prides,
prejudices,
a fungus
on my own
private mushroom,
where I know nothing,
nor will I ever,
be forgotten.
III
Blue sky
long time no see.
Sunshine
don't cut it
on dirty waters.
Neck deep nooses,
glide in slow motion,
eyes burn out
like stars falling.
Hope,
clad in
ridiculous
fig leaf
uniforms,
guards our
awol garden,
riddled with weeds,
surrounded by
whitewashed fence.
We sit on it,
like bulls eye targets,
inanimates for
the elite,
our only hope
of survival,
is outnumbering
the snakes
disguised
as Gods.
