the rope like fiber
each
like an embilical cord
tugging
buffalo eyes watching me
in total adoration
trust
sadness confusion
anger fighting
againest our circumstance
into the trailer
the voyage
i was tired
i wanted to preserve you for the generations

give you a betterlife
somewhere else
where the neighbors wont threaten to shoot you
i told you
primo sundance Jess
that i was sick
you know i would not lie to you
nd you went
into the trailer
ist Primo
the leader named after my x husband
the father of my children
seperated and furious
Sundance and Jess
chased each other
between the barriers
finally
Jess walked in
the gate closed
hosed off
cooled down
the blue white color of your spirits were lit up in your beautiful bodies
the soft fur of your foreheads
i touched you as if for the last time
was like the first time
sweating and hot
we, you, the buffalo and I
have been connected for six years
i could feel the ropes pulling and tugging out of my heart
movement
buffalo
roam
that is what they do
i love you
like a full moon
i thank you for all that you have given me
i will talk to you when i go to the tree

the cracks in my soul
were absorbed by the hot lava
like golden strands of love
hug me
as i am going where i may not see you ah
not soon enough

give me a home
where the buffalo roam
where love is an extension of nature
and the other side is tranquil blue
where bison and prairie dogs play
with ex-pats from another world
