amazing painting

Post by Doreen Peri » October 18th, 2005, 12:16 pm

Lines blur,
amazing to me
how paint catches light
at night when hues have
gone to sleep and
can no longer blend.

I love you more than
I ever did intend.
I only want your hand
on the
halo
of
my
skin,

Your eyes,
twilight born
like a newborn
flirt, my skirt
lifted only high
enough for you
to come
in.

A delightful invitation to the one you love. So beautifully written my friend. "C"

I've been trying to paint the perfect or amazing painting.

There's only one problem.

There's something lacking in either my talent or my skill level.

Or maybe there are two problems.

Thank you for reading!

When you hit your perfect painting, I hope this is the type of adjective used to describe it: "Your eyes, twilight born like a newborn flirt, ..." I hope that's the type of adjective because one word doesn't strike me as enough to speak wonder-perfection...and a phrase as masterful as that from your poetry only does enough as to point on the idea of: "what other amazement awaits a bit on from this and now?"
