They told me to wait 24 hours.

They told me to wait 24 hours
and so I waited 2 and a half
then proceeded with doing
what I needed to do, in spite
of demand and instruction.

I do not liken this to corruption
of rules. Only dismissal. I wait
only for the epistles of saints
and wormwood creations which
occur because of inate
inevitability.

I will wait for death and infection,
infestation and rumination
for a thousand years – but demons
such as those will not wait for me
to come to them.

They take me on their own accord.

I would rather write lucid words
with intermittent humor but there
is a tumor on my wisdom tooth
and I cannot see what I
plan to say.

They told me to wait 24 hours.
I had only planned on waiting one day.

Silly me.
I decided to wait a fraction
and auction off, by sanction, the
remainder, just for fun.

a beige room with beige carpet
I can still see it
why those colors
for a waiting room
waiting for Rose
Radiation
she was coming along
but I still think that
dam flu shot killed her
Every thing a trade off
medical miracles
pick and chose
to find one doctor
that practices the art

this one made me feel lonely

Silly me
I told myself I'd wait
24 hours
just 24 hours
that's all
but I became confused
sanctimoniously
acrimoniously
they slipped
they slid
into years
just 24 years
that's all
I waited
they flew by
so slow
I grieved
it's so cold
alone
so long
24 days
24 years

life is short
and love comes like a thief in the night
lightning strikes when least expected
almost three years ago in Virginia
but I saw it coming and stepped aside
dang me they ought to take a rope and hang me.
