Great Divide

[WIREMAN]

Smoke billows from
stack on the south
side of town,

silver flashes of traffic
on I-95, blue sky behind
full of low clouds,

the great divide, time
when the existence
changed, leading to the
inevitable,

banjo, erh-hu, & mohan vina,
tabula rasa lightens my steps
this sun shining day,

as the smoke rises ever higher
the desire constantly remains.
