caltalpa tree leaves
rustle in Febuary
bean tree flowers fall

like snow in Junes breezes
hummingbirds perch amidst them
diving for nectar

i will sit upon
an Adirondack chair waiting
for inspiration

wishing for muses
to bring me a pallet of
watercolor hues

so i may paint them
on four slender canvases
each season its own

upside down dancer
ballerina tree stands head
buried, legs to sky

i am a journal
written with a scratch of quill
on a blank parchment

wind illustrates a
view with blows of leaves through bare
branches. limbs sway jazz.

I couldn't post to the right place, so it goes.
There is an American (English?) form of stanzas of seventeen where each stanza stands by itself but ties to the other lines. In my memory I think it might be crystalline sonnet . . . I am not sure of the number of stanzas or verses or what ever. I was trying to go there but in half an hour there it is.
Not very forum post savvy I’m afraid
Everything is cloudy these days
i lurk about a bit . . . find it better just to watch
