Do you remember

Post by joel » February 21st, 2006, 6:31 pm

Do you remember when at last we kissed?
You said you’d like a simple touch; my lip,
your lip. You said you’d joy to nest within
my arms. You said you’d journal what it meant
to hear my love, receive in innocence
confession loves you didn’t need me voice.
My eyes were open when we kissed and I
watched Satan honestly come silent by
and prove temptations manifest. What choice
were you to hold regardless? Common sense
(for wise or otherwise) was not. I went
raw truth in trust you’d love; and were it sin
that you received me— grace but knows I’d grip
for faith a love shared sometime reminisced.

Have not quite decipered all?

"My eyes were open when we kissed and I
watched Satan honesly come silent by
and prove temptations manifest."

Satan has his way of getting his way even if it is not the way we believe. But then we allow satan to lead the flesh when we quiet the spirit within.
