Convicted twilit images profound—
ad liminæ throughout the universe:
soiled light come down so outlined gorgeous shines
while unaware what colors fill its forms.
Perplexity amazed: You devastate
with clarity, obscure with rapture grace—
my love relates to you past reason’s force
with love to forfeit counterfeit recourse,
with love to nuzzle chaos. Commonplace
beneath me; now I lay me outerspace,
I pray the heavens be my face. Await
with me such love. When transitory norms
pause what should be; when all creation’s lines
claim colors unsupposed; when prose turns verse
for twilit love—descend on holy ground.
