Being Named Dick

It's hard, being named Dick. It's got it's ups and downs but I'm learning how to handle it.
Just the other day a co-worker said to me, "what's fer lunch Dick?"
I replyed, "nah, let's have cheeseburgers."
Yep, I like to tell every one my last name is Long. I thank god my name isn't Dick Trickle, What was his parents thinking?
I own a dicktaphone. For dicktations of course.
My wife spotted a poodle the other day and said, "look at that Poodle Dick."
I said, I'd rather not."
Sr, Jr, 3rd, a whole bunch of Dicks in my family. The third said there won't be a forth. A long line of Dicks broken as they fall into the anals of history.

When I was a child going to school I was known as Richard for obvious reasons. School children can be quite cruel!!!!
However as I reached adulthood I learned how to use my name to my advantage.
A young lady was teasing me about my name when I said, "they don't call me Dick for nothing. I went on to explain that when I was born the doctor shouted, "WOW, what a Dick!" So I have been called Dick ever since.
Sometimes people will call someone a Dick. Because of what a dick represents I view that comment a complement.
Nothing wrong with a little dick envy.
I find it funny that a lot of black people have the last name Johnson but it's rare to find a black man with the first name Dick.
Dick Johnson, what a name.
Man I'm in bad shape! My Johnson's Jonesin.

Being a Jr., I was known as little Dick. My dad, big Dick. I didn't care much for that. Now my son is the 3rd so that makes me the dick in the middle.
"My name is Dick"
"And my name is Dick"
"My name is also Dick"
'Will the real Dick please stand up."
