As chocolate

Today I devoured a
Hershey Almonds and Toffee chocolate bar
large size
while sipping coffee and reading Vonnegut's
"Breakfast of Champions"
I called it lunch
Decadent!

I didn't break off measly pieces
nibble it
I folded back the caramel-colored wrapper
and broke off great chunks
As I bit and chewed
bit and chewed
I imagined that I felt better
I thought of you
How much I would like to unwrap you
Find you as satisfying
As chocolate
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

chocolate is a delight
a delicious delight
when I take a bite
that first bite
I want more more more
it's kinda like life
only usually more tastey
