Angels had become obsolete
without anyone noticing except
perhaps a handful of hearty
ghosts who did their best
to pick up the slack.

Rebellion sang through
the veins of the entity
while dissatisfaction
ran rampant
throughout it's being.

Shortly after
the hosts of heaven
defected
a new classification
of celestial beings were created
calling themselves
free thinkers.

Tension was felt in
every realm of
conscious thought,
as questions lingered
beyond polite inquiry,
every bodies eyes glazed
and changed the subject.

She throws her hands up

until...

yet the hosts of heaven were replaced by
celestial free thinkers.

May the rush to "last days" become bogged down in celestial debate....

faith, something lost
in the translation
miracles unrecognizable
too many makes for blandness
everyone's expecting
something bigger.

A sleeping angel
feisty in her delight
to bring smiles
chuckles unconscious
that life
should be
such a letdown

The folly of angels is
they try when they can succeed
and fail when they see
how desperately
the treasure
aches

An excellent read ~K... maybe you're onto something

for I have seen

"every bodies eyes glazed
and changed the subject"

signed,
I remain
hopeful
