A few highlight strokes to your left cheek is all you need
And that history does not disappear but
It is forever revised
The future can be used to enhance it with highlights
Or forever adding more shadows
Whether you bring light to the subject is entirely up to you

too much light will cause the image to be flat just as smoothly as too much darkness

Hey K, you have a very Kryptic style to your writing we have to figure out the key (words) as well as the message. Loved it and keep painting with shades and shadows it is my favorite kind of writing. "C"

there is a bit of wickedness to this one. Something like don't tempt me, or I just might in spite of you. Loved it.

riddles on the muses' tongue
begs the shadows' limbs to stretch
across the gap that isn't there
