Had the day off work, something about ol Queen Vic's birthday , thanks vicky, not a morning guy usually need hi octane to get my weary bones on the run, none the less up i was at 7am even foregoing a cup a joe and into my lil truck pointed to my studio sun in my eyes moon on my back fumbling with keys to early morn dust risin off sunlit floor herd of easels paintings in the drying rack signs of yesterdays artists working but today it's all mine so i set myself in front of the day in front of me setting up opening box of paints pulling out a selection of brushes with Pablo's eyes staring me down the challenge is in the air, and i struggled the drawing just as I wanted it, but damn painting him another story throw it on scrape it off was'nt til I scraped it off the third time that i saw what was important it was all in his eyes painted shear and hard and left his face colour scraped and faded with the years....moved on to the cubist shapes and figures around him the pace frenetic now and so it continues....
