audience

the lush visions

to haunt me.

my laughter etched
into the edges
of his fingerprints

he haunted me

and still i wait

for my papercut
heart

to be drawn in

by the subtle art of his charm

spoke to me
haunted me

written in electric corners
where I don't know
whether or not I'll stumble
upon

vocalized in thought
quiet as thought
quiet as potentiality

& what potential
do I have
from which to respond?
