Danger Road Block Ahead

DANGER ROAD BLOCK AHEAD

There is talk around town that we are not to worry,
to far from the coast, he assures.
But what about the atmospheric conditions being
just right, just so;
enough gust to carry to and beyond.

I try not to worry, but the fact remains;
we fight alone, we die alone.
A greatness remembered only in history books
and stories past down for father to son,
mother to daughter.

The reasoning right, the solution a problem
and tension grows.
No I will not worry, not til our eyes are closed
And the word on the street is PEACE AND SAFTY;
then will I wonder Are we really alright?
