Untitled #33

Post by lenny » July 31st, 2006, 9:52 am

A battle great now brews.
Forces amass at mind's gate.
Body moans, emotions rampage, mind darkens.
Flame of will flickers feebly.
Head seeks heart in marriage of darkness.

Oh brave heart - resist!
Wed not the emporer of delusion.
Remain untouched, pure sister.
Reject, thou, the crude advances of darkness.

Rally slumbering forces of light.
Rise gallantly to the struggle.
With sword of wisdom, shield of faith,
embrace the battle!

Command thy soldiers of higher qualities;
Fearlessness, courage, endurance - lead the right!
Determination, will, perseverence - charge the left!
Detachment, perspective, discrimination - bring up the rear!

Oh great tide of blazing Light,
what darkness can survive your onslaught?!
As brave Helios effortlessly banishes the night,
banish forever all darkness from kingdom of my consciousness.

"head seeks heart in marriage of darkness....banish forever all darkness from kingdom of my consciousness."

where darkness treads, a bit of light must shine. Whoa...how deep this feels.

love lots

Thanks again, Ann. When one walks into a dark room the darkness vanishes instantly with the simple flick of the 'switch'. But there is no 'switch' that can banish light from a room and render it dark.

Thanks for taking the time to read,
