Room With a View

ROOM WITH A VIEW

looking out a window
afraid to go outside
those who are closed
are those who are open
those who are open
are those who are closed.

the window fogs with confusion
a mist that can't be wipe away
the heavier we breath
the thicker the mist
the thicker the mist
the less we see.

the more we question
the less we answer
the more we see
the less we understand
open the window
view a wall.

we cannot see
that which is not there
we cannot feel
unless we first touch
we cannot understand
unless we first forget.

those who are open
are those who are closed
those who are closed
are those who are open
a world we cannot see
a world we refuse to touch.
