if i am asleep and he lights a cig in bed
it is likely that im going to be nasty when i wake up
he is like a lecturing father
i love him and i love being a part of this metamorphis called love i like cooking his food or sucking his cock or telling him how glad i am he is in my life
but it is a mystery to me when i see the short circuts in his mind when things are not perfect
like the fantasy that becomes real, a veleveteen rabbit sometimes is worn
i would cry but i think that the song physcho lover would just have more verses wriitten
tears will fall hearts will break
guess you will just have to wait for the physco lover
to re awake
he lurks at the end of the driveway
she breaks his windshield and keys his car
he slashed her tires
all the wires of the physco lovers heart
are exposed and true to the midnight farts
so the best thing to do
is ignore his plea
for him or her to be someone else

I see my friend's perdicament
How can a husband love his wife
and hardly hear her
so wrapped up in his own suffering
he has no time for hers
what we do for love
how babies get born
to silence natures thunderous ticking tock
he had a cute little inky dinky butt, a red convertible and he was handy around the house

Ah, yes, the short circuits...the short circuits. How well I used to know them. They burn and scar deeply and are a true part of the metamorphosis. The question is how long do they last, how deep do they go, how lasting their impressions each time? But I prefer being the velveteen rabbit anyday. Nice piece.
