is measured by ideal inches,
minute hands second to second
ticks of fate and if you wait
too long for miracles,
you will create a flight
of precious time, the night,
your only companion,
the dark, your friend,
and in the end
there will not be questions
of why but interjections
of perhaps.

Love is a Saturday night Reno gamble.
Sometimes its a sweet suite,
other times it's craps.
