My concupiscence, object of desire—

My concupiscence, object of desire—
I wish my will were strong enough to will
its strength in perseverant search of you
as you deserve (for lovely liberty
in all love’s purity), but I will not
and cannot help but fumble. Would I were
impassible in love and so retire
from narcissistic lust. Yet I aspire
to act on all I find within; and sure
as often I shall fail, ought I have sought
fidelity’s sweet perfect mastery—
true love to you. I vow to you love true
as best as I may will commit; pray still
forgive and breathe the love I ought transpire.

Lucky lady... to have such lovely poetry written for her.

I love your writing. But you knew that.

I sure hope you contribute something to the book we're doing, joel.

I liked the sound of that.
