like the sunsets
drenched by light
that live inside you

like this shuddering inside our skin
the wild lightfloods, rose-coloured
to drown in

to taste the sweetness
of your blood
the waters you birth
out of my womb

your dreams that come into mine
our words that always
find each other

your hot tears on my cheek
my scalds opening to your flow

this desire to burn

wild sunsets

tearing me out of my world
wild sunset
screeching me past lightning speed
into bloody wondrous chorus guile
innocent wisdom, mightier than a brain can stand
wildfire
ripping me past skin and bone
ecstatic presence within
my voice left in a faraway century
i become galactic pulse

I become
what I never
was
drenched in
the pallet of your
imagination
I see a vision
stretching to
hold us closer
than blood
or bone or skin
could ever hope to

burning dreams
visionary flights
into the silence
of one.........
