For me, as man, a homophobic pride

For me, as man, a homophobic pride
might hide a hidden hatred, wherein men
are worthy not my love’s recipient
as integrated love a person ought
receive— how loves a man himself if man
is fundamentally unlovable
and less than what love’s person ought to be?
And yet what else is pure misogyny
than homophilic love immovable
where love against fair sex is granted, than
bare sexist love wherein bare sex is sought
prerequisite to person? Penitent
I love. I hope to love in person— then
in person all my questioned love confide.

sex is a depleted uranium shell.
love is a protest sign in front of the White House.

Oh wait.... maybe love is the gun...
I get all this sexlovesexlove stuff confused.

shit, these two have been going at it for years...

you made me think, here. (thanks for the nudge).

what a coincidence to come here and read a poem of such a controversial subject of which we are discussing in my Cultural Diversity Class.

Outstanding writing.
