Poet words

My Poet words hide,
in the jaws of required countenance.
My gut's sagging stretchmarks,
take cover,
in fashion's festivale of fools.
Oh how I long to show you everything.
My whole lonely oasis,
where there's splendor,
beyond love's tiresome blind fold.
Where I and you,
and all of us,
look ravishing in the dark of beauty,
unlearning the aging nightmares
some devil imposed,
entwined in a sweaty orgy,
dedicated solely,
to our trembling souls.

That makes three of us. Fine writer, good friend. I love me some Hest! ;) I see her on FB sometimes. She got married! She performs with her husband. He plays guitar and she sings with that fabulous jazz voice she's got... several other band members play with them sometimes, too. She seems very happy! I sure wish she'd stop by again and post.
