Every count has an origin. Why not this Christ thing?
Counting tends to confuse.
The alternative is not to count at all. Good idea, but that still denies the need to count things.

first
then the beginning.
The accounting

in riches.
We bankrupted out belief
that day.
That hour.
She was the only one

to the safe.

cringing before the robbers.
She was their mastermind.

i counted the counts, and the Counts, and the counting and the County and couldn't find a Country to count. and now i wonder, like mnaz, why i bothered, it didn't make 42. i used to count repeating cells of patterns on wallpaper when i was a kid, that didn't do me any good either.
