Soft spots

Soft spots
hide out,
underneath
status quo.
Business is bidness.
Suck it up, sucker.
Lose the notion
all is fair.
Love is war is
crumbs of sorrow,
creature comfort,
processed food.
I beg you behold.
I plead we awaken.
Will our way out,
of this vile captivity.
Those are not
your eyes,
staring back
in that mirror.
They are mine,
wanting you,
to love me.

that is powerful
Obligatory ramble starts here.
Just a GO
you might say
even a careless fart
but
Ba bababa baby
I can't resist your voice
it is not her smile
but you have such a nice smile
you know I love you
but jesus loves you best
may you have a beautiful day theda
you just make mine. double

I just come back to edit
a typo
I will fix it later
I found a treasure hester
25 cents at a thrift shop
just outside the gates of a military base
100 poems from the japanese
Seems like the longer I live the more treasures I am finding
from the book
XXII
A strange old man
Stops me,
Looking out of my deep mirror
your hot hester
you truly are a "torcher"

the first sixteen lines are a soft-spoken acknowledgment and beseeching, simmering with potent fire just beneath the surface... shades of Gil Scott Heron, who insisted we cannot let ourselves be locked up in corporate dungeons on the way to glory... the last seven lines seem to be what we give up if we succumb...
well, that's how i (dug) it...

I have not looked in a mirror in days
the last time I looked
I looked like a wooly headed ewe
a nappy bearded strange old man
sorry about the small talk
you made me nervous with this one
thank you for giving the courage to look in the mirror today
The war is over mnaz, we lost.
I beg you behold.
I plead we awaken.
Will our way out,
of this vile captivity.
