My peace is this

My peace is this, my final sleep
in which at last I fill my bed.
My peace is this, my final sleep
whose headboards rest against the red-
awaken-eschaton and dread
that dawn’s delay when comes instead
my peace. Is this my final sleep
in which at last I fill my bed?
