Paradise redone

Each spring
Eden returns
to be grown anew.
Adam and Eve however,
never learn this.
No, they let the damn snake
in every year.
He lies,
starts trouble,
the garden is neglected,
let go,
it's all a bummer,
over and over and over,
gas fumes,
broken hearts,
severed roots.

I've decided this year
will be different.
I'm grabbin a garden,
growin it myself.
To hell with Adam and Eve
stuck in their old ways.
I'm sick of the same old garden.
Same ol snakes.
Paradlse lost my ass.
Paradise redone I say.
Bring on the lilies,
the lilacs, the love.
Plant them in redemption,
indivisible,
with liberty,
and justice,
for all.
Amen.

I'm an Easter basket case in a house ful of boxes!
Moving day..this Saturday!
Seattle, here I come
Wheeeeee!

Thank you Hester
I enjoyed reading your poem and it cheered me up immensely.

Happy landings
I like Seattle, it had a beat feel, it reminded me of Baltimore.
But mostly all I saw was the waterfront and warehouses.

I been curious lately about what fruit was hanging on the tree of life? I bet it was peaches.
