hold me my mountain
you always know what to do

at night we are closer to the stars
the altitude drags us to centerstage
the show of dimming lights
souls of the dead
Bright lights fading in and out

Take me inside
where I'll feel safe
in walls of minerals
caves and caverns dripping with water and wisdom

I stand over this view of the city
watch some rain fall
in colors of orange and maroon
cascading down and drenching our earth

Nature take us over
always greater than us
Humans no different from nature
Phases of volatility and peace

go up and vanish into thin air,
on a rim above speckled gray,
where stars attack without mercy,
center stage...
