I love this song. I used to sing it when I was in Japan, on the best gig of my life. I ran into it on youtube and still dig it, although now, it's not about what it was about for me years ago, it's more about closing my eyes and counting to ten and then opening them and feeling the love all around. A musical mantra of sorts.
Mystical when a song comes back that you loved and then you still love it, but from a completely different perspective. And thass why I posted it here in Mystic arts. Gotta song that has mystically grown with you? Share it!

I am not sure this is the best reply to your question.
Gotta song that has mystically grown with you?
A very good question.

I am trying to think if this song has grown mystically with me. First heard it about 1972 at the student union building in College Park Maryland. It was on the sound track of a movie they were showing that night.

The Kesey Bus Movie. I think it was the final song as the credits rolled.

the big wheel has turned thirty seven times since then.

And I am still trying to break new ground.

Maybe the song has not grown because I have not.

I hope that is not true.

good thread Hester
I hope to see some more replies.

Another song from my great awakening in the seventies when everybody and their brother was getting saved.

You once called me an enlightened man Theda.

If I am I owe it all to silent woman.

The last thing she needed was another husband.

And damn if I did not start trying to act like one.

I found an old song One that works for me on a different level this time
Thirty five years ago when my heart was down to my toes I would listen to this song over and over again

My heart is in my throat these days and I am listening again

She's a Rainbow

Has been a favorite for 16 years, at least.

And another...
