Ahhh, truck... you make-a me smile. :)

No need to search

just waiting to be seen
without all the words
blocking the light

thanks cecil, I got a bad tendency towards glibness, one of the least favorite things about by personality. Levi has it too, my brother myself.

but forget about that.
the event horizon of a singularity or black whole, once light passes beyond that it can not escape. For a couple years they been saying that. Light can not escape it goes in and don't come out. Now the latest mythology says it comes out the other side, into another universe or something. Very strange. I still wonder how many angels can dance on the head of a needle.

I posted a bunch a sexaul hiaku stuff to soozen then got
and deleted it. The last time I was posting to KD on litkicks SooZen called me out on Flames. Well I think she did :)

truck - black holes a'plenty now being discovered. other than that it's all theory. there is no fact, which doesn't mean there never will be, but for now, there is no fact. don't let the astro-scientists be the only theorists. theories are more plentiful than the black holes themselves. :)

My brain is wired wrong cecil. I am more weird than you think I am.
I don't expect to be understood. Once I get this crapp out of me and into a text box it disapates. Just dealing with the hand I been dealt the best I can. I am just punch drunk. One to many blows to the head.

Maudlin
Etymology: alteration of Mary Magdalene; from her depiction as a weeping penitent
1 : drunk enough to be emotionally silly
2 : weakly and effusively sentimental

Sorry I punched your ticket, I will try not to do that again. I saw Stephen Gaskin speak back in the early seventies he is a very good man. He said "I don't punch anybodies ticket"

One of the first stories I heard about Zen was a story about Zen Master Un Mun. One day as Un Mun was on his way to the outhouse, a new monk approached him and said, "Please, Zen Master, tell me, what is the first principle of Zen?" Then Un Mun said, "Excuse me, I have to take a piss," and marched off. Then, as he was walking away, he turned around, looked back at the student, and said, "Imagine, even such a simple thing I have to do myself."

Cecil I am reading my last reply to you, I should have used an emoticon. It was a sincere appology. Not smart ass remark. I consider myself fortunate to have met you and SooZen. they guy above talks about how he

My first encounter with Zen was through books. I spent many years reading books about Zen. I was very intrigued by its way of expressing things, and often perplexed. One day a friend of mine told me about a talk being given by a Zen Master Seung Sahn from Korea. During the talk this Zen Master said something which really put me in a tailspin: "Understanding cannot help you." Something went off in my mind; a deep dissatisfaction had been touched. Here I was, just finishing my graduate studies, and this Zen Master says, "Understanding cannot help you." I heard that.

Something Microbe said about Zen And THe Art of Motor Cycle Maintenance hit me like that. Levi made it sound so esoteric. Turned me off.

I am a lazy student. I get what I want from it all. Reading your words here put me in mind of breaking the seal on a brand new road into the void.... everything and nothing to anticipate. Only light and space and a wistful horizon.
