Sunday Stream (125) ~ darque (9)

Post by mtmynd » May 27th, 2007, 9:46 am

darque (9)
belief in the relief from the chains of the brain
incorporating stagnation of non-sense/common sense
dispelling the welling of stress repressed
by the incapable unable under a maple table fable of
missed myths hissed thru lips puckered, tuckered from
bellowing, yellowing screams of dreams
created, fixated, uninitiated constipated knee-jerked, overworked,
under-paid, over-abused, misused calculations of relations
unguarded, farted thru whole holes opened hoping for
paramount visions bringing ringing of hell’s bells
chiming, whining, dining on chosen frozen dinners for
winners and sinners repeating, deleting, cheating only
those who knows not some of the flotsam that climbs rhymes
structured, butchered by lives knifed into
segmentations, regimentations, compartmentalizations
assessing the mess undressed before mirrors of reflections
being, microscoped, telescoped, helio-doped into volumes
hinted, printed, minted and filed, defiled, re-filed across
spectrums rectums aching to be heard like herds of words
corralled by fences of defenses designed resigned a number
through sixteen thousand and one hundred and four million
not counting sub-letters ‘a’ thru ‘y’ (omitting the ‘z’) under
fluorescence of innocence where marque of the darque
becomes praised, crazed, raised into ways of known now blown.

Thanks so much, Arcadia and mousey-one, for the positive replies.

This morning, when I usually write a Stream, time was short as SooZen and I are doing a 3-day show and have to drive about an hour to get there. I opened my cyber-files and chose an unfinished writing that I cannot remember when I began. I re-read it and where I had bogged down and couldn't go any further, the poem just happened to continue right then and there. A pleasant surprise. I had to do a little cleaning and straightening, you know, but there it was (is) and off to the show we went! This evening I read the replies and you made me smile. I like that. :)
