Wow... I'm away for a few days and miss so much...

I did try to call Cecil last Saturday, and got a friend/neighbor on the line instead, who said Cecil went to the hospital... I guess I misunderstood... I thought it was just for a precautionary check or something like that...

It is great news that mtmynd will be returning home today. Great news indeed.

Thank you again friends for all the support. I have passed the messages along to Cec and he really appreciates your love, as do I.

Yesterday was not a good day. Cecil had a bleed on Tuesday night, and then again yesterday when they just tried to prop his head up a bit. They can't seem to stop the flow. (First the dam and now the flood.) This is a real Catch 22 for they cannot stop giving him the blood thinners because of the danger of clots around the stents causing a heart attack or stroke but the blood thinners cause the femoral artery site not to clot either which is almost as dangerous. Just like mtmynd to give them a quandry, huh?

He is extremely uncomfortable and in pain as he must lay flat on his back (still) and his old disk injury only hurts when he is on his back. The food sucks (really) and have you tried to eat when you are laying down? And he has had no rest and looks it.

Today I must take care of Nate...he doesn't understand the neglect and wants his routine back, Yogi is bereft because there are no morning walks and wants his walks back, Annie is depressed and then me to hope, wish, pray and believe that Cec will stop bleeding and at least be able to sit up, roll on a side and get a bit more comfortable. His humor and kindness have not abandoned him...but oh, what trying times for a man who has never been ill in 62 years.

This too shall pass...like the flotsam of the river. Keep sending your light and love like a lifeboat, that we will survive these rapids and return to pools of peace soon.

This would be a good time for ceiling art for Cecil. imagining magic mandalas easing his physical discomforts (ouch, i meant pain) and luring him to sweet gentle other planes.

Oh what a struggle! Dear Cecil, hang in there! It will soon be better! You will be healed and whole and strong again!

SooZ... thank you for the update! We are all here for you and your family! Cecil is in good hands! He will be better soon!

Echoing judih... we hope you're doing ok...hang in there. This is a trying time but you are a very strong woman. Please make sure you are getting the rest you need. ((((hugs))))

I have been posting Cecil banners for 2 days and while he is recouperating, I will continue to post either banners by Cecil or banners to inspire light and healing.

This is disconcerting news, but a major operation requires considerable down time I suppose, so patience, being the virtue that it is, we shall entertain it.

I carry you and your family in my heart, Cec, and continue to send strength and support in this most frustrating time.

Good news for us all. Cec is home, fast asleep in his own bed, a tired, and weary man who is about to embark on a new journey in his life starting tomorrow.

All are happy here to have him home and not leaking blood or having chest pains. I know myself that this will be a hard and somewhat fearful journey but the result should be a whole (and healthy) new man with the same empty mind.

Thank you all so very, very much for your support, your love and the light to light the way. It means much to him and has been essential for me. It is so very nice to know you all are there in your spirit (and a spirited bunch you are!) with words of encouragement and it frankly, helped keep me afloat and able to steer through this stormy incident. I really can't thank you enough. We have some wonderful friends here and that is the TRUTH!

I am sure you will hear from the man himself tomorrow and I will probably be even busier than usual so my time is limited, especially writing time but know you all are dear to me.
