Sunday Stream (132) ~ time keeper

Post by mtmynd » July 15th, 2007, 12:01 pm

time keeper
today is sunday in phar lepht, the 15 day of july in the year 2007 c.e., the christian era. for two thousand and seven years plus we measured our time by the number of years since jesus. christ.

the jewish calendar shows the year 5768... that was the jewish beginning to time. the other cultures that we share this planet with..? i don't know their measure of time.

we all have time but we carry different measuring devices to time our time here. not simply our own life but the life we are part of, living with, sharing stories, talking sex, weather, sports, business... past and future... we socialize as most of nature: all things rely on like things to exist.

mind insists on measuring things: width, length, height, girth, weight; how long has 'it' been here. how does it feel between one-and-ten? does 'it' move? is so how fast does 'it' move. how does it taste? rank it between 'sweet and sour.' it goes on... as mind will do.

the senses become the tools to know what 'it' is. knowing is what mind does. knowing is mind's nature. it's how mind survives, gets stronger. exercising. know the senses.

mind measures time. using cycles of the natural world - revolutions around the sun, revolutions the moon makes around the earth, (the rotation of the moon and its revolution around earth takes 27 days, 7 hours, and 43 minutes). all the planets within our solar system have their own rotation period, as does our solar system within our galaxy which has it's own rotational period... and on and on, rotation evolving.

time. time describes to mind all that the senses experience immediately transferring measurements to mind. each sensation describing through the five senses, five unique qualities of 'it'... mind adds the question "time?" using the five answers to 'know' to understand 'it' but whatever 'it' is, 'it' has time also. 'it' hasn't been here but a measurement of time. if 'it' didn't have what is susceptible to each of the senses, mind would not grasp 'it'... 'it' would not exist without that which the senses perceive.

once perceived, mind wants to know 'it's time - when? how long has 'it' been here, this moment in the time of the measurer - the time keeper - where he starts nobody knows, how long has he's been nobody knows. longer than we may ever know. time cannot reveal it's true age for mind would not understand. mind calls that time 'eternal' or 'infinite'... so far out there that our mind cannot grasp anything short of a belief of evolving perceptions built upon a past to insure survival in a future believed to become a another beginning of time.

time is the dimension of now... without borders, without limitations, time encompasses all that is, all that 'it' that our senses grasp is all 'it' is. on any level that 'it' is.
mind
the time keeper
mind
the perceiver
mind
the conceiver
mind
the believer
that time can be kept
time is also our limitation... our measured life as a blink in the vastness of time... an atom of water within the sea of consciousness. time is but one more dimension of our knowing. our senses reach out to knowing to understand, to measure where 'it' was, but finds it difficult to measure the immutable now that is forever mutable. this now has no time. now is timeless.

beyond dimensions where knowing has always been, will always be, the beacon of white light upon the shores of pure consciousness reveal the majesty and mystery of being.
