oh, this is wonderful news.
are we considering fresh salads and whole grains?
chomping our way through fresh fields of clover
walking daily and breathing in some honest phar lepht oxygen?

is this the new life opening up?
are we giving up dancing on tables and wearing our g-string to the local pool hall?
Till i hear from you, Cec, or Soo between gigs, i'll imagine one g-string less in the local pool hall. please confirm....

Yogi is bereft because there are no morning walks and wants his walks back
I got to get another candle, keep it lit till Cecil is back on his walks again.

Thank you for keeping us informed

Everytime I look over at my candles burning I feel like I am looking in on Cecil. Just to see how he is doing.

Oh I am so pleased at this good turn of events. :D

Back home, yes, that is where true healing can begin! Nestled in your own comfy bed.

I reckon this is how our big huggly snuggly buggly mt feels along about now...

Anyway, I'm doing the one legged dance of joy and celebration that you are back home with your family. Let the healing begin.

And thank you so much, sooz, for keeping us in the loop. We have all been...I don't mind telling you...very very concerned right alongside of you. *Insert huge comforting hug right here*

I'm really at a loss of words after reading this thread. Amazing folks the lot of you truly are. Thru all your energies, prayers, candlelightings and whatever else aided my recovery tremendously. Whenever a life-threatening experience happens to us, we must make the decision to listen to the message or not... it's our choice.

My lifestyle could no longer maintain the pace. The body grows older and must be treated accordingly - no more smoking tobacco, no high sodium foods, minimize dairy products and eggs, and of course, exercise.... all good ideas for anyone but when the reality hits that all those must be attained or else, it is a personal struggle and one that is formidable.

A shift of consciousness becomes necessary. One that shows a better way for the body, something most of us tend to ignore throughout our lives in favor of mind. Balance, balance, balance - body, mind, spirit. I dig this life. I'm not ready to quit it. The mysteries feed me. I've been given a new chance to continue onward and would be foolish to not listen to its message.

Again, thank you one and all. Your words are wonderful and mean a great deal to me. Love to you all!

no need to bow, but while you're bowing, keep the back straight, look straight into the eye of that big tease, Death, and wink him away.
let's yin/yang in perfect harmony.

the body's gotta get its due. Do it. And it'll change everything.
So happy to hear you, Cecil. Blame all the outpouring of energy on SooZen. She knows just who to ask. Surprising she wasn't bowled over in the flow.

a million feliciadas, (approx.) as perhaps arcadia already said. Continued strength to you. Maybe Ram Dass's Still Here would be a good daily read. Sure strengthens me.

Cecil.... it is great to have you back...

Perhaps maximum rest and sleep is a good way to ease into this transformation... I can relate to this on some level. I need to make similar adjustments to my trajectory as well...

It's just good to read text on the state of mt-mynd, at last... it felt almost like the end of "Apollo-13" there... into radio silence, waiting to emerge... and then, contact. Rest up, get whole!...

naz.
