jimbo : "the 60's are a time for growth"
upon 1st read i immediately thought 1960's... burned in the mind, but then it dawned that you were speaking of personal age! hah!
i've been doing considerable thinking about that, being 62 approaching 63. the health issue had everything to do with it, but it began a long a interesting dialogs with myself on how our age should not dictate how we look at life. by that i mean our frame of mind, our focus. i always assumed that when i reached a certain age that was the signal that i could live how i wanted. good for a moment until health enters the picture... how we must alter our living when we get older... if not and we continue living as we have been for the past 30-40 years, we can't expect to live healthily... we've got to change and radically for many of us (me included). i just may have something to write about that one of these days, after the facts settle in. quien sabe? take care.
