This weekend Soo & I are doing our first show of this year - La Vina Jazz & Blues Wine Festival, the twice yearly show.

Here's a pic into our tent before show time -

These are what we call 'Winey Babies", used to identify one's wine glass by slipping them onto the stem, a very popular item at these shows-

By mid afternoon the crowds got really large... various shots of the crowd mostly standing in line to get wine or other liquid refreshments as the temperature was in the low 90's -

The day ended with some very strong winds that hampered the enjoyment as we had to hold onto the tent to keep the panels from shaking violently in the gusts that seemed relentless at that point.

Note: more winds are expected this afternoon. ((boo!)) let's hope the show will proceed well and people will continue pouring in as they did Saturday. ((yeah!))

Gracias to you all for the kind words. Soo noticed that I repeated a pic twice... odd as I thought I corrected that this morning before heading out. Obviously I didn't. But I now have the 3rd different crowd picture if anyone is interested.

Today's show began with some winds, fortunately not as violent as Saturday's late winds and good for all there, the winds pretty much quieted down around mid afternoon with only an occasional blast from the west. The show was great for us and we're two happy people tonite as we've finished our dinner and are getting ready for a well-deserved sleep.

Good night all... ;)
