there are those moments in one's life
where the choice between living and dying
are no further apart than that of the human hair

when we can appreciate the qualities of both:
death as the eliminator of this ego life which
seldom finds true and utter freedom from want

and life as the deliverer of complete liberation
when we look upon this world and beyond
witnessing an act that inspires our very being

life/death, life/death, the dance goes on and on
each step choreographed by something larger
than life itself with no final answer or conclusion

only the mystery unfolding one instant at a time
too quick to hold on to and too large to conceive
we can only find ourselves grateful for participating.

no tripod used... solamente me and my two hands shooting in the area where the strikes were occurring in hopes of catching one. i had tried and failed to get a shot of a strike while it happened so I tried the other way and ended up with cinco! picturas!! lucky...
