Sunday Stream (218) ~ Between the Words

Between the Words:
What makes every word stand out is the space between them... the silence between the sound. It is from this silence from which arises each and every word, born of each and every thought struggling to survive by becoming a sound reminiscent of the original thought.
Every sound released by any and all life and Natural occurrence flows into the cosmic ethers, traveling with barriers whose distance is measured by impetus.. the power which unleashed the sound. The wise say the collective sound throughout the universe heard singularly, as one sound is the sound of 'OM' ... simple and stunningly meditative like a ring of a bell. OM then becomes more than a word and like all words, describes a happening, for sound once heard is a sound once made. By the time we hear it, it's source is no longer.
Our search for Truth is much like this... by the time we think we understand Truth, Truth shrugs off the definition and moves on... another word, another sound in the vast array of all sounds the universe plays. Truth is not a tangible object, not a concrete idea, nor is Truth simply a concept or a promise of a place in time for the believers and dreamers. Truth is an experience, the ultimate experience that remains without beginning or ending... an eternal play within and without the universe we all live within.
But even these words pertaining to Truth, because Truth is being reduced to words, is woefully inadequate. But that does not stop us from seeking Truth, even though who amongst us know exactly what this is, this 'Truth' that generations of life have been teased with words as to it's 'truth'..? It is not inhu'man, this source of what we call 'Truth'. It's an experience, a sudden realization that illuminates one's entire being... removing doubt, removing all negativity and assuring the individual that Truth is indeed much, much larger than the word, but yet there is no other comparable word to use. Shortchanged by a word but forever touched by the experience, pilgrims, the seekers, the skeptics and philosophers alike should not search out the word Truth, but seek the experience. Within the wholly silence, between the words, therein lies...
